& God used him in a very special way…
SAMUEL WAS TRAINED BY ELI
IN GOD’S SPECIAL TENT -
THE TABERNACLE

When Samuel was growing up - God called him one night while he was sleeping.
But Samuel kept thinking that the voice he heard was ELI
After 3 calls, Eli realised what was happening.
NOW ELI KNEW IT WAS GOD

When God called his name again, Samuel answered
“Speak, for your servant is listening”

So as Samuel grew, the Lord was with him.
The Lord will make Samuel a PROPHET
(A PROPHET IS SOMEONE WHO HEARS FROM GOD)
