you will see how Hannah’s prayer was answered
and how she kept her promise!
Meet HANNAH
Hannah was married
But Hannah was very sad!
SHE COULD NOT HAVE A BABY
& she really really wanted to have a baby.
When Hannah and her husband went to worship the Lord in a place called Shiloh.
HANNAH PRAYED
Eli, the priest saw her but thought that she was acting strangly.
Hannah told him that she was praying.
THEN HE SAID THAT HE ALSO PRAYED
THAT THE LORD WOULD ANSWER HER PRAY!
AND GUESS WHAT - SOON HANNAH WAS PREGNANT
Hannah’s Promise
Do you know when Hannah was talking to God, when she prayed in Shiloh, she made a vow, a promised to God.
She said that no razor would come near her sons head.
That meant that she was going to dedicate her son to the Lord.
And that also meant that her son was a Nazirite, like Samson was.

Make sure that you keep it.
If you promise to tidy your room - DO IT - Keep your promise
If you promise to share your toys with your friends - DO IT

Thank you for Your Bible stories
Thank you that they show me how to live
Please help me to keep my promises
And to only make promises that I can keep
