What does this passage tell us about
SATAN ; ADAM & EVE ; THE LORD GOD
Satan is cunning - crafty - he knows the truth and he twists it - making people doubt
Adam & Eve - FELL for his trickery - no self control; didn’t TRUST God fully; weren’t satisfied
The Lord God - even though he punishes them - he loves them - he makes clothes for them and he protects them from eating the fruit form the tree of life which would keep them in this sinful state FOREVER
WHY DOESN’T GOD WANT US TO SIN?
(it seperates us from Him)
THE MINUTES ADAM AND EVE SINNED - THEY HID
(they felt guilt; shame)
Their nakedness reflected their purity and innocence. BUT ONCE THEY FELL FOR SATANS LIE
Their sin was exposed and they wanted to hid and cover themselves
What were the consequences?
Did they know that there were going to be consequences?
