LET’S BEGIN

THE LORD WANTED TO PUNISH THE AMALEKS

1 Samuel 15:2
I have noted what Amalek did to Israel
in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt.

But Saul doesn’t follow the Lord’s commands
He fears the people more

SAUL IS TOLD TO DESTORY EVERYTHING
But he doesn’t - He brings the Amalek King back and the best livestock
And then justifies that the livestock are to be sacrified

SAMUEL GETS MAD
Then Saul confesses to wanting to please the men and gave in to pressure

AGAIN SHOWING SAUL’S WEAKNESS & DISOBEDIENCE
