The ISRAELITES needed to be RESCUED

BUT THE PEOPLE SAW IT DIFFERENTLY

When Jesus rode into JERSUSALEM on a DONKEY
(even though they shouted - The KING who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed one)
They thought that Jesus would RESCUE them from the ROMANS
They didn’t undertstand that JESUS would RESCUE them from DEATH!

But Jesus told them that if they kept quiet stones would praise him
THIS MAD THE PHARISEES ANGRY
