Hannah promised to give Samuel back to God
She dedicated him to serve the Lord
So Eli, the high priest, trained Samuel in the Tabernacle at Shiloh

She saw him once a year in Shiloh, she would bring him a new robe
SHE MUST HAVE BEEN SO BLESSED TO SEE HIM GROW UP TO BE A PROPHET!
Do you remember what the Tabernacle looks like?
They used the finest metals (gold, silver and bronze) and the finest materials
Remember God gave Moses exact instructions, even the size of how He wanted it made

What is a prophet?
SOMEONE WHO HEARS FROM GOD.
Not many people heard from God. Only a few. They were called prophets.
They told all the other people what God said.

Dear Lord Jesus
Please help me to be quiet and to listen to You.
You said that your sheep know your voice.
