DAGON was half man and half fish

The next day, Dagon had fallen on his face!

They put dagon upright again. But the day after that……dagon fell again!
his head and hands were broken this time

THEN THE PEOPLE IN ASHDOD GOT SICK! The Lord made them sick.
So they moved the ARK to another place
GATH

But the LORD made the people of GATH sick too.
So they moved it to Ekron!

BUT THE PEOPLE DIDN’T WANT IT AS THEY KNEW THEY WOULD GET SICK TOO

So after the ARK had been with the Philistines for 7 months,
they returned it to ISRAEL

The Philistine priests said that it was to be returned with GIFTS
(a guilt offering)

They send 5 GOLD tumors
and
5 GOLD rats

They made a NEW cart with 2 cows that have never be yolked before

They said it the cows went straight to BETH - then they will know that the Lord had sent this great disaster on them

GUESS WHAT - THE COWS STAYED ON THE ROAD AND WENT STRAIGHT TO BETH!
