How to Worship
Are we living the way God designed us to, or are we content with a less than what He requires of us and desires for us? We are made to be worshippers of God, we were saved by the Lord Jesus Christ to be worshippers, not just to escape punishment. God has created us in His image to love, enjoy and worship Him, not because He needs us to, but because He loves us.
Loving, worshipping and enjoying God is the greatest blessing a human being can experience, and every member of the Church is made for this purpose. We worship in response to God’s great love for us in Jesus Christ, by the power of His Holy Spirit working in and through us. This is what is is to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Are we true worshippers?
Scripture
Ephesians 3:14-21 ESV For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, [15] from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, [16] that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, [17] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, [18] may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, [19] and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. [20] Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, [21] to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer
Dear Father God Almighty, Thank You for the inexhaustible riches of Your Glorious Mercy. Thank You Father, that although our sin deserves nothing but Your Holy wrath and judgement, that You have granted to Jesus Christ our Lord, to take all that wrath and punishment on the cross. Thank You for the mercy with which You have given us forgiveness and made us right with You because of Him. Father we pray for You to fill us, Your Church, with every measure of the power of Your Holy Spirit, so that He may raise in us the deepest awareness of the full extent of Your love for us. Father may the love, joy and peace you grant us through Him, well up in us so that this inexpressible joy would result in praise honour and glory to You. Please help us to respond with nothing less than absolute surrender to Your work in and through us as we worship You with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Worship
Holy Spirit, living breath of God,
Breathe new life into my willing soul.
Bring the presence of the risen Lord,
To renew my heart and make me whole.
Cause Your Word to come alive in me;
Give me faith for what I cannot see,
Give me passion for Your purity;
Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me.
Holy Spirit, come abide within,
May Your joy be seen in all I do.
Love enough to cover every sin,
In each thought and deed and attitude.
Kindness to the greatest and the least,
Gentleness that sows the path of peace.
Turn my strivings into works of grace;
Breath of God show Christ in all I do.
Holy Spirit, from creation's birth,
Giving life to all that God has made,
Show Your power once again on earth,
Cause Your church to hunger for your ways.
Let the fragrance of our prayers arise;
Lead us on the road of sacrifice,
That in unity the face of Christ
Will be clear for all the world to see.

Service
The first step in service to God is to God is to meditate on the cross and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to fill us with His Holy Spirit to give us the right motivation and necessary power to worship Him in gratitude for what He’s done. Then we need to pray that He would do the same for the entire Church, and finally we need to respond by offering ourselves to His Holy service. Have you offered yourself to His Holy service in gratitude for what He’s done?
