Even though Peter made a terrible mistake Jesus forgave him And Jesus gave Peter a purpose GO AND FEED MY SHEEP (Go and look after my people)

Even though Peter denied knowing Jesus Jesus is merciful Jesus forgave him Jesus knows everything (He told Peter that he would deny him) Jesus can use ordinary people to do His work on earth
