In Acts 17, Paul travelled from Philippi to Thessalonica to Berea to Athens
Today, in Acts 18 Paul arrives in CORINTH
In Corinth, Paul meets 2 Jewish people who had just left Rome Aquila and his wife Priscilla. In Acts 18 we discover that Paul had a trade PAUL WAS A TENT MAKER The same as Aquila and Priscilla!
verse 6 From now on I will go to the Gentiles
verse 8 and many of the Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized.
verse 9 - 11 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10 For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” 11 So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.
2 Corinthians 5:1-3
New Bodies
For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.
We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing.
For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies.
