The Lord has rejected King Saul for his disobedience

THE LORD TOLD SAMUEL TO
1. FILL HIS HORN WITH OIL
2. GO TO BETHLEHEM
3. TAKE A COW TO PREFORM A SACRIFICE
4. GO TO THE HOUSE OF JESSE

The Lord said he would tell Samuel
which son to choose as the next king

When Samuel saw Eliab - he thought that this is the son the Lord would choose…
